Mrs. Jamie Thomas, Assistant Principal
Dear Parents and Guardians,
It is with great pride and excitement that I write this letter of introduction to you as the newly appointed Principal of Test Intermediate School. I am honored to have the opportunity to continue to lead a building with such a rich tradition of education! I have been dedicated to the field of education for more than seventeen years. Before joining Test as the Assistant Principal, I served in a variety of teaching and educational leadership roles. Some of the roles I have held include classroom teacher, instructional coach, and director of Third Grade Academy. I am excited and eager to bring my skills as an educational leader to Test Intermediate School and work with you as a partner in education to ensure your child's success. By partnering together, we can make sure your child’s social, emotional, and academic needs are met with high-quality rigor and engagement.
I believe that great schools are the result of great teachers. My primary objective will be to ensure that every student is receiving high-quality instruction from every teacher at Test. I will work alongside teachers and staff, by providing feedback on instruction, access to professional development, and reaching out to parents for support with academic and behavioral concerns to ensure our students are prepared for college and 21st century careers. Building strong relationships with parents, students and community partners is instrumental in your child’s success.
This year is going to be amazing as we continue to provide academic experiences for our students that are rigorous, relevant, and help them build relationships while making real-world connections. As your Principal, it is important to me that everyone who steps through our doors-teachers, students, parents, and stakeholders-are excited to be here! This attitude enables us to meet the challenges of academic excellence in a positive, fun, and nurturing environment.
I will be working closely with fellow administration and the community to guarantee that all of our scholars are intellectually challenged and have access to the social and emotional support critical to students during the middle school years. Please continue to be involved, and ensure that your voices are heard. Feel free to contact me at 765-973-3412 or send me an email directly at [email protected] to discuss any concerns you might have throughout the school year.
Thank you for the opportunity to serve your families in this role! Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions, concerns, or ideas you would like to share.
